Appliqué and quilt designs, that I call Gumdrop Quilt Blocks, MugRugs and Borders because of the shape and the resemblance with the sweets/candy by the same name - only these are garuanteed sugar and calorie free
These are my version of a know and cherished name for something sweet and irresistible - fruBlomgren style - to make on your embroidery machine
I was inspired, when I recently visited a good friend, Merete Ersted Holst from Kvinsbjerg, who had made a similar free style quilt with Gumdrops and thought to myself... they were suited for a fun project or two on my embroidery machine and a perfect use for all my smallest scraps and favourite pre-cut fabric strips
When I searched for Gumdrop quilts on the Internet, many different interpretations came up, however I did not find any gumdrop quilt blocks for embroidery machines - now these are here :-)
3 of the designs are ITH projects: Versatile MugRugs in 3 variants
3 of the designs are quilt blocks that you can combine and make into other beautiful creations - e.g. a bag or a pillow, which I have describe in the enclosed tutorial
3 of the designs are very easy made borders in various length to combine into endless designs, e.g. on the hem of a dress, a curtain or something third

Included with these designs is also a very detailed pdf photo tutorial showing how I make the appliqué gumdrops and also showing and telling how you - on your sewing machine - can sew together the quilt blocks and make them into other cool, creative projects such as a bag and a pillow ... The tutorial comes with English and German texts
These gumdrop quilt blocks of mine are very EASY, however not that fast to make – they require love for fabrics and the meditative feeling you get while picking each and every little scrap for the many appliqués, but then again, what nice and rewarding creative project made by your hands and heart does not require that? :-)
