The Stick People come in two variants: with fill stitch faces and with appliqué faces - ALL designs are a mix of embroidery and appliqué stitched this way:

TO show how, I have included the PDF tutorial for the ITH Cards with the stick people, however PLEASE NOTE! the cards ITH are NOT themselves included in this design pack - only the Stick People as single designs
The pets and the sun are also a mix of embroidery and appliqué
The Stick People - animals and other elements - are easy stitched - I recommend using a medium weight fabric for background as the Stick people's limbs' and hair are a bit dense to make them stand out and be noticed in all their 'sticky-ness' ;-)

THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGNS:
4 years ago, on February 13th, 2018, when he was 6 years old, my grandson Emil drew this absolutely wonderful drawing of his grandfather, me, himself and our dog, Skipper, who is a white collie with light brown markings
Together we made it into an embroidery - I stitched and together we chose the colours for it and for the picture we then made with the embroidery, which we framed in an oldschool wooden embroidery hoop.
Emil was - and is - very interested and fascinated by my embroidery machines, and he loves to be involved in thread selection and thread changing <3
I have long wanted a garden flag with Emil's lovely drawing of us and at the same time, I decided that his lovely 'matchstick figures' should available as designs here in my Etsy shop, so that others too can enjoy making designs with these heart-warming little personalities <3
When Emil made the drawing, there were no little girls in our family (our granddaughter Anna is about to turn 3) and we don't have cats in any of our households ... only the neighbor's, who teases Skipper and our chickens - THEREFORE I have taken the liberty of imitating Emil's line and I have drawn the little girl and the cat as well as some simple flowers...
