Eggs'traordinary machine embroidery wreaths for April - Spring has sprung, the birds are singing - let enjoy it with this April Wreath embroidery design pack – the fourth installment in my 12-month wreath series!
Inspired by an Instagram prompt suggesting Square wreath for April AND as Easter is in April this year, it was obvious to me that the wreath should be a tribute to Easter, with beautiful little eggs and a little rabbit hiding behind them in one corner... a bit of an inverted world, as the story goes that it is the Easter Bunny who hides the eggs.
As on the other wreaths in the series, the blackbird plays an active role - here indeed, as it steals one of the Easter eggs ;-) - That little rascal.
But Easter isn't always in April, so this time I've made an alternative wreath that doesn't celebrate Easter, yet honours the good weather with a sprouting branch and framed, square - of course - with my new tiny borders of little sprouts or mini-trees - it's up to you.
