Perhaps I am naive when I expect that the least we can do for our friends and those who fight for the same things we do - peace, a free world and not least democracy - is to empathise with them. That we can put ourselves in their place and situation and help them if they are in need WITHOUT expecting anything in return other than our own gratitude for being able to provide this help.
Unfortunately, I now realise that yes, this is naive, but it's also a human imperative that we must hold on to - which is why I have created these designs as my own inner ‘peacekeeping’ forces in a world that is currently not quite as it should be.
Vielleicht bin ich naiv, wenn ich erwarte, dass das Mindeste, was wir für unsere Freunde und diejenigen, die für die gleichen Dinge wie wir kämpfen - Frieden, eine freie Welt und vor allem Demokratie - tun können, darin besteht, mit ihnen mitzufühlen. Dass wir uns in ihre Lage versetzen und ihnen helfen können, wenn sie in Not sind, OHNE eine Gegenleistung zu erwarten, außer unserer eigenen Dankbarkeit dafür, dass wir diese Hilfe leisten können.
Leider ist mir jetzt klar, dass das zwar naiv ist, aber auch ein menschliches Gebot, an dem wir festhalten müssen - deshalb habe ich diese Entwürfe als meine eigenen „Friedenstruppen“ in einer Welt entworfen, die derzeit nicht ganz so ist, wie sie sein sollte.
Jeg er måske naiv, når jeg forventer, at det mindste vi kan gøre for vores venner, og dem, der kæmper for det samme som os - nemlig fred, en fri verden og ikke mindst demokrati - at vi kan empati for dem. At vi kan sætte os i deres sted og hjælpe dem, hvis de er i nød UDEN at forvente noget til gengæld andet end vores egen taknemmelighed for at kunne yde denne hjælp.
Jeg ser desværre nu, at ja, det er naivt, men også et menneskeligt must, som vi må holde fast i - og derfor har jeg lavet disse designs som mine egne ‘fredsbevarende’ styrker i en verden, der pt. desværre ikke helt er som den burde være.

These designs are digital files for machine embroidery – NOT physical items – and you’ll need an embroidery machine to make them.
You’ll receive the designs in the formats: DST, EXP, INF, JEF, XXX, HUS, PES, VP3 + colour charts for the design.
These designs are hand-drawn and digitized by me, and the photos are of actual stitch-outs, also made by me.
You may stitch these designs for personal use and gifts – or to sell on your handmade creations as a small business in limited quantities (10-15 times per design).
These designs remain the property of fruBlomgren and must NOT be distributed or sold in whole or parts.
